The SideDoor estimate tool can help designers make sure that they are staying within their client's budget, and can also show what profit to expect post-sale. It shows the trade cost, IMAP (Internet Minimum Advertised Price) cost, the IMAP cost with freight added, and estimated profit when sold at IMAP. We want to make sure that you have as much information as possible when you are creating and sharing your collections; the ability to quickly view the cost and profit estimates are part of that!
Once you have built out a collection, the estimate tool takes out any guesswork and energy you expend having to add up all of these pieces on your own (we've seen some giant collections!). It also prevents your clients from being surprised when they arrive at the checkout page. You can access the estimate tool by clicking on the ellipsis button located next to “Share” (after opening your collection):

- The freight cost included in the estimate is residential threshold delivery. It does not reflect shipping to a receiving warehouse, or white glove delivery.
- The estimated costs and profits are based on the prices at the time of estimation. There is a chance that the vendors may change prices by the time of purchase.
